In-Home Care

At Care Podiatry, we offer convenient in-home care services for patients who need professional foot and ankle treatment in the comfort of their own home. Whether due to mobility challenges, chronic conditions, or recovery needs, our team provides personalized care, routine treatments, and ongoing support. Our goal is to ensure you receive high-quality care while staying safe, comfortable, and independent.

Foot and ankle problems can affect daily comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life. Earlier, patients used to visit clinics or hospitals for checkups and follow-up care. Today, in-home care allows patients to get foot and ankle care from the comfort of their homes using safe and secure video consultations.

Tele-health allows healthcare professionals to check symptoms, monitor recovery, and guide treatment without requiring patients to travel.

What Conditions Can Be Managed Through Tele-Health

How Does an In-Home Care Consultation Work?

  • Patients receive a secure link to join a video consultation from their computer, smartphones, or tablets.
  • Our foot specialist discusses symptoms, pain patterns, activity levels, and treatment options.
  • Patients then position their camera to allow the foot doctor to observe movement, swelling, redness, flexibility, walking, foot structure, and gait problems.
  • Patients are asked to perform simple movements such as standing on their tiptoes, pointing to the location of the pain, and flexing and extending the ankle.
  • Depending on the evaluation, our podiatrists recommend home exercises, orthotics or supportive footwear, changes in activity, or further imaging or in-person visits if needed.

The Future of In-Home Care

Many remote consultations can effectively support musculoskeletal care. Even healthcare systems are now using tele-health in routine foot and ankle care as a complementary service along with traditional health checkups. Some advances in digital health technologies include motion tracking, mobile sensors, and remote monitoring. These can further improve the ability of clinicians to access mobility, track recovery, and get personalized treatment plans remotely.
